The Mayor requested staff to prepare a notice 0 of an open position to. the Appomattox County Planning Commission and advertise the position in the’ newspaper. The deadline should be before the next council meeting, the Mayor will appoint a committee to review the application and then a name-or names will be presented for council to consider.

Town Clerk — none.

The Appomattox Town Council concurred, hearing no opposition, to continue with the grant application process for the Appomattox Battleground site.

On a motion by Councilmember Mayberry, seconded by Councilmember Mitchell,

Council voted to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. . All members present voting aye. Motion carried. ao
