Ms. Bennett reported that the Rescue Squad/Town/County had met.with Bryan. : David of Amherst County concerning billing procedures and paid personnel. The next meeting is scheduled for July.

On a motion by Councilmember Mitchell, seconded by Councilmember Mayberry, Council voted to approve the out of town water connections for David A. Johnson. for Lots 2 & 3 at Homeplace Subdivision on Rt. 691. Councilmember Carson called for the question meaning to limit debate. All in favor of limited ¢ debate. All: voting aye. Original motion carried.

On a motion by Councilmember Mayberry, seconded by Councilmember Carson, Council voted to waive the application fee for the use of Abbitt Park by the Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce for Friday Cheers. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.

On a motion by Councilmember Mayberry, seconded by Councilmember Lawson, Council voted to adjourn at 8:30 p.m. All members present voting aye. Motion

carried.
