On a motion by Mrs. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to declare the items on the list as presented as “surplus” with the exception the Chevrolet 4 Dr Sedan be put out for sealed bid, and the rest of the items be sold at public auction with the School System, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.

Ona motion by Mr. Mayberry, seconded by Mrs. Bennett, Council voted to approve the water connection for the New Courthouse, and waive the availability fees and connection fees as requested by the County, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.

On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Mayberry, Council voted to table the

request to consider lifting the water’ moratorium until further study can be made, and all

those ‘present voting aye. Motion carried.

©n a motion by Mr. Mayberry, seconded by Mr. McDearmon, Council tabled the request for the water connection on Route 631 for the Hudson Family until further study can be made, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.

There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
