SPECIAL CALL OF COUNCIL

A special call of Appomattox Town Council was held on Monday, July 15, 2002 at 6:30 PM with Mayor Spiggle presiding.

Those members present: Norman Mayberry, C. Lewis McDearmon, Joyce Bennett, W. H. Carson, Steve Lawson, and Marvin Mitchell.

Others present: William M. Phillips, Town Attorney, D. T. Garrett, Jr., Town Manager and Bobbie Mullins, Clerk.

The meeting was called to order with a prayer.

The purpose of this special call of council was to discuss the Engineering Service for the Well 39, and an update on the SBR System.

David Garrett, Jr., and Mr. Phillips briefed Council on their findings as to where the Town Council stands on hiring an independent engineer | for the Well 39 Design.

The general o consensus sof Council was that due to time constraints we ve proceed immediately the design for Well 39 and let Hurt & Proffitt do the work.

There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned at 6:55
