Mr. Mayberry, Chairman of the Sewer Committee, reported the Committee recommends approval of the Reed Bed Systems Agreement with several changes to include a “hold harmless agreement” for both the Contractor and the Town, and that Sigmatron is the parent company.
On a motion by Mr. Mayberry, seconded by Mrs. Bennett, Council voted to approve the Reed Bed Systems Agreement with the corrections as noted and all those present voting aye. Motion carried. (See attached copy)
On a motion by Mr. Mayberry, seconded by Mr. McDearmon, Council voted to approve the two out of town water connections as requested by R. C. Stephens and Delphia Beringer and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to set Fall Clean Up Weeks as November 15th thru November 19 and November 29° thru December 3° and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
Council referred the question of the Phone System to the Property Committee for their study. The Committee requested we obtain a second price.
Council also referred the “rodent problem” to the Ordinance Committee for their Study. Mr. Phillips had presented a proposed ordinance several years ago. The Committee will
