No action was taken on the Resolution of support for Funding for Land Conservation.
On a motion by Mr. McDearmon, seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to change the October meeting date from the 11% to the 12*8 due to the holiday and all those present - voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Lawson , seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to refer the parking on Oakleigh Avenue to the Street Committee for their study, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. McDearmon, Council voted to stay with the Trigon Health Insurance with the County and the Appomattox School Board, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mrs. Bennett, seconded by Mr. McDearmon, Council voted to change the Workshop date from September 28% to September 27° at 7:00PM and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
Mayor Spiggle reported we have a citizen that has sustained a great deal of property damage due to the squirrels on her property.
Council agreed to have the problem looked into and gather the cost figures.
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned.
