Special Call - May 26, 1998
A Special Called Meeting of the Appomattox Town Council was held on Tuesday, May 26, 1998 at 5:00 PM with Vice-Mayor Bass presiding.
Those members present: Joyce Bennett, Norman Mayberry, Steve Lawson, and Marvin Mitchell. Absent- Rick Pack.
Others present: David T. Garrett, Jr., and Bobbie H. Mullins, Clerk.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the easement for Parkview Enterprises which is out of town, and Gray S. Nash, Jeanne N. & James G. Amos, in town for the Meadowlark Sewer Project.
On a motion by Mr. Mayberry, seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to approve the wording for the easement between Gray S. Nash and Jeanne N. Amos and James G. Amos, which is the twenty two trailers that are already in place.

On a motion by Mrs. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Mayberry, Council voted to approve the wording of the Parkview Enterprises Inc. Easement for the Meadowlark
Sewer Project which the Council realizes is an exception to the moratorium on out of town
sewer connections due to the need to obtain the easement in order to continue with the project and not lose the monies for the grant.

There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned.
