The regular meeting of the Appomattox Town Couneil was beld on Monday, May %, 1995 at 7:38 FM with Mayor Spiggle presiding.
Those wembers present: Hh. LL. Bass, Ro W. Miteheli, H. W. Conner, W. Ha Carson, S&S. &. Carter, Absent - Lawson.
fithers present were: Cindy Smith, Times-Virginian, Bb. T. Garrett, Jr., and Dobbie Ha Mullins, Clerk.
The aeeting was opened with a prayer. 4
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Me. Mitehell, Council vated to approve the Agenda with one addition to New Business
Ge Resolution ~ Flag Burning, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
Me. David T. Garrett, Jv. appeared before the Town Couneil to
| discuss the proposed water and sewer lines for Sunnydale Avenue, He explained the lines as proposed. The drawings for the plans will not be ready for three weeks.

On a motion by Pr, Mitehell, seconded by Me, Carson, Council vaotecd to not change the way the Tawn handles Town Decals at this tine, and all those members present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Mitehell, secanced by Mr. Carter, Council voted to inventory and label ali Town Property (large items) and all thoge present voting aye. Motion carried.
Gn a motion by Me. Mitehell, seconded by Mr. Conner, Couneid voted to purchase the eight chairs far the Conneil Chambers (will be within the budgeted amount) and all those present voting aye. Wotiaon carried.
