The regular meetin of the Appomattox Town Council was help on Monday, March | 13, 1995 at 7:30 PM with Mayor Spiggle presiding.
Those members present: W.H. Carson, S.E. Carter, R.L. Bass, R.W. Mitchell, H.W. Conner, and Steve Lawson.
Others present: Gray Nash, Cindy Smith, and Bobbie Mullins, Clerk.
The meeting opened with a prayer.
| On a motion by Mr. Mitchell, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council voted to approve | the Agenda with one addition to New Business, 4 Route 29, Corridor-Tourist, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried, \
On a motion by Mr. Mitchell, seconded by Mr. Carter, Council voted to allow _ Gray Nash to put his used car lot on his property and grant the conditional use permit and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
| On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Mitchell, Council voted to accept | the recommendation fo the Water Committee and asopt the new water cut off
| policy to be effective May ist, 1995 and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Bass, Council voted to recommend
that-we sell V. 0. Rothgeb a minimum business license at $25.00 as recommended | by our Town Attorney and the Ordinance Committee and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Lawson, Council voted to accept
the recommendation of the Ordinance Committee to advertise the Town's intent
to adpot the regional compact for the joint enforcement of Vehicle Decal Ordinance, hold a public hearing at 7:00 PM to hear citizens comments at the nest regular meeting in April and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
