On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council reconvened into regular session, and each of the five members present discussed probable land acquisition and that only, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Lawson, Council voted to purchase a Chipper at an approximate purchase price of $15,000.00 with the County of Appomattox paying one-half and the Town of Appomattox paying one-half, and ali those present voting aye. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before Council the
meeting adjourned with a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Lawson and all voting aye.
