Bernard Proctor, reported on the National Park Service. After the study done by the National Park Service personnel, it is
not feasible for the lines to be constructed as Council previously requested. We will have to go along Route 24 and the Town will not provide any maintenance on the National Park Service property due to the many restraints.
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Bass, Council resolved to appoint S. E. Carter, to the Appomattox County Community Center Board of Directors, and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Hubbard, Council voted to change the rates for Town Auto Tags to $20.00 per vehicle, and $10.00 for motorcycles.

On a motion by Mr. Hubbard, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council voted to adopt the following resolution to Dr. Cc. F. James and all those present voting aye. Motion carried. (See attached)
On a motion by Mr. Hubbard, seconded by Mr. Bass, Council voted to continue contributing $2500.00 towards the
Blue Cross-Blue Shield insurance even though we may be changing our plan to the School Board.
