On a motion by Mr. Carson, seconded by Mr. Carter, Council voted to re-instate Lee Jackson-King Day to the list of holidays in the Town Personnel Policy and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Carson, Council voted to re-state the Policy on Trash Collection for the Town of Appomattox. There will be no trash pick-up on the following holidays:
Christmas Day Thanksgiving Day Fourth of July

Council discussed the request by the Employees for the purchase of uniforms. Council dis#ussed this and suggested as an alternative, to purchase a washer and dryer for the Sewage Treatment Plant.
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned.
