On a motion by Mr. Webb, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council adopted the Litter Resolution in conjunction with the County of Appomattox and Town of Pamplin, and all those present voting aye.
Bass-aye Carter-aye Conner-aye Webb-aye Mitchell-aye Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Conner and seconded by Mr. Webb, Council approved the proposal from Michie Company to up-date the Town Code as stated in the Letter dated March 19, 1987 at an approximnate cost of $3400.00.

On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Webb, Council voted to appropriate the monies from the General Fund to pay the cost of up-dating the Town Code, and all those present voting aye.
Motion carried.
Mayor Spiggle reported the State Water Board has approved the additional funds to go with the next two Contractors on the Sewer Project at the additional cost of $617,000.00.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Webb, Council voted to authorize the Mayor to attend the sale on May 13th, and bid on a Crew Cab Dump Truck at a not to exceed figure $5000.00 all all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council approved the appointment of Martin Webb to the Appomattox County Blue Ribbon Committee and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council voted to advertize the Town's intent to adopt a Proposed Meals Tax Ordinance and all those present voting aye. Motion.carried.
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned.
