On a motion by Mr. Noble, seconded by Mr. Hubbard, Council tabled a request from Julie Coffman, Recreation Director, for the use of the Backroom for Adult Classes, and all those present voting aye.
Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Webb, Council voted to refer to the Property Committee the use of the Backroom for meetings and have guidelines drawn up for policy, and all those members present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Webb, Council referred a request from Mr.. William Cook to purchase property at the old landfill to the Property Committee for their study and recommendations and all those present voting aye. Motion carried.
Mr. Conner questioned whether Mr. Charles F. P. Crawley, Jr., could obtain sewerage on some property he owns just out of Town. Due to the moratorium on sewer, he cannot at this time.
On a motion by Mr. Bass, seconded by Mr. Hubbard, Council in accordance with Section 2.1-344 went into Executive Session to discuss Personnel.
Bass-aye Carter-aye Conner-aye Noble-aye Hubbard-aye Webb-aye Motion carried unanimously.
On a motion by Mr. Hubbard, seconded by Mr. Noble, Council reconvened into regular session and all those present were voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Hubbard, seconded by Mr. Conner, Council voted to appoint Bobbie Mullins as Administrative Assistant for the Town of Appomattox with the authority to execute Town Business; to appoint Mayor Spiggle and Vice Mayor Bass as. Co-Chief Executive Officers with Mayor Spiggle's responsibilities to the Administration and Vice-Mayor Bass's area of responsibility to be with the Utilities.

There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting adjourned.
