ref: reel030887 date: 1970-01-01 content: On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Noble, Council voted to donate the use of two Port-a-johns for the Appomattox County Chamber of Commerce to use for the Trade Show at an approximate costs of $50.00 each, and all members present voting aye. Motion carried.
Council discussed the proposal of Paul Passink for Channel 4, but no decision was made at this time because the Town Council will be meeting with the Board of Supervisors on Monday. They wanted to get their opinion of the change.
On a motion by Mr. Bass, seconded by Mr. Noble, Council voted to pay damages to Kenneth & Delores Jones due to a sewer back-up in the amount of $166.52, and all members present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Webb, Council voted to go into Executive Session in accordance with Section 2.1-344, to discuss Personnel, and all members present voting aye. Motion carried.
On a motion by Mr. Carter, seconded by Mr. Hubbard, Council reconvened into regular session and all members present voting aye. Motion carried.
