On a motion by Mr. Bass, seconded by Mr. Hubbard, the following resolution was adopted for the Rescue Squad: (See Council File dated February 11, 1980)

Mr. Britton reported to Council on the County-wide Anti-Litter program. The County wants to apply for the grant in-total.
On a motion by Mr. Conner, seconded by Mr. Lawson, the Town Council voted to participate with the County of Appomattox, in applying for the Anti-Litter Grant for Appomattox, and adopted the following resolution: (See Council file dated February, 1980)

A proposal for the lighting at the Ball Park was referred to the Property Committee for their study and recommendations.
It was the general consensus of Council that Mr. Britton attend a three-day meeting to be held in West Virginia on Noise Control on March 25-27th.
