ref: reel030083 date: 1976-03-18 content: A special meeting of the Appomattox Town Council was held on Thursday, March 18, 1976 at 5:00 o'clock P.M. with Mayor H. B. Pack presiding.
Those members present were R. C. Hubbard, R. C. Spiggle, M. J. House, Jr., B. H. Guill and T. E. Conner.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider two recommendations of the Street Committee dated March 11, 1976 regarding parcel 038 of the proposed Court Street project.
Mr. Burke Guill read the recommendations as follows:
That the Appomattox Town Council request that the Virginia Department of Highways move all proposed permanent structures from property owned by Jamerson-king Realty Company property (parcel 038).
That the Appomattox Town Council request that the Virginia Department of Highways delete the proposed curb in front of parcel 038.
Motion was made by Conner seconded by Guill to accept recommendation number one above.
Ayes 5 Nays 0 Motion carried.
Motion was made by Conner seconded by Guill to accept recommendation number two above.
Conner - Aye Guill - Aye Spiggle- Nay House - Aye Hubbard - Nay
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned.
