ref: reel030185 date: 1940-03-15 content: A Special Council Meeting was called for the 15th of March, with Mayor Pack presiding.
Members present were R. C. Spiggle, M. J. House, R. C. Hubbard, Burke Guill, T. E. Conner, and R. L. Bass.
Others present were W. R. Britton, Jr., Town Manager, Dr. Jim May, Bill Berkley, Ralph Hines, and Mr. Gordon. Mr. McDearmon and Mr. Hardwood, property owners were also present.
W. R. Britton, Jr. was requested to give a brief summation of the problem of the Downtown project.
Dr. May outlined Addendum II which would take care of the problems with the Downtown Project.
On a motion by Mr. Conner and seconded by Mr. Hubbard, Appomattox Town Council accepted Addendum II to the Downtown Project. Ayes 6 Nays 0 Motion carried.
There being no further business to be brought before Council, the meeting adjourned.
