ref: reel030082 date: 1976-03-11 content: A meeting of the Street Committee was held on Thursday March 11, 1976 at 5:00 P.M.
Those present were H. B. Pack, T. E. Conner, R. C. Spiggle, Burke Guill, W. S. Kerr, and W. S. Slagle.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the next step to take with regard to the acquisition of the remaining parcel on the Court Street parcel.
After much discussion a motion was made by Guill, seconded by Spiggle to recommend that the Appomattox Town Council request the Virginia Department of Highways move all proposed permanent structures from property owned by Jamerson King Realty Company property (parcel 038).

A motion was made by Conner seconded by Guill to recommend to the Appomattox Town Council that Council request the Highway Dept. consent to the deletion of the proposed curb in front of parcel 038.
