ref: reel030051 date: 1975-01-01 content: RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF APPOMATTOX AMENDING THE WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR CENTRAL VIRGINIA; AND FOR OTHER RELATED PURPOSES
WHEREAS, through the review and adoption of the Water Quality Management Plan for Central Virginia by the Council of the Town of Appomattox several changes in the former document have been proposed; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on the proposed amendments on January 23, 1975 at the Central Virginia Planning District Commission, with no adverse comment received; and
WHEREAS, a recent ruling of the Attorney General allows for the option of accepting the Commission’s public hearing as satisfying the requirements for a local public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Appomattox, in regular session assembled, that the proposed amendments affecting the Town of Appomattox, described in the document Amendments to the Metropolitan/Regional Water Quality Management Plan for the Central Virginia Planning District, be adopted.
