The Council requested that the Town police officer check on old refrigerators stored out of doors.
Holland moved and Mrs. Robinson seconded that the bill of Hankins and Anderson be paid. Motion carried.

Committee Meeting
A meeting of the Police and Health Committee was held on August 3, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Room.
Present were: T. E. Conner, Chairman, M. L. Webb, R. C. Hubbard, H. B. Pack, and C. S. Booth.
Copies of ordinances from several towns regarding the keeping of horses and other animals in towns were read.
The clerk was instructed to draw up a proposed ordinance for the Committee to study.
The proposed ordinance is to cover horses, ponies, mules, cows, goats, and sheep, with area requirement of 2 acres per animal. The lot must be at least 100 feet from the nearest dwelling, and must have an approved stable.
The Town must have the right to inspect the premises.
