ref: reel020538 date: 1969-04-21 content: The regular meeting of the Appomattox Town Council was held in the Council Room on April 21, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor H. B. Pazk, presiding.
Members present were: R. L. Bass, Burke Guill, Ivey Holland, R. B. Hubbard, and H. L. Webb.
The meeting was opened with a prayer.
Bass moved and Hubbard seconded that Dr. C. C. O'Brien be given a building permit to add a room to his office at 5 Oakley Avenue. Motion carried.
Hubbard moved and Guill seconded that Mr. A. E. Hopkinson be given a building permit for enlarging his office at 111 E. Lee-Grant Avenue. Motion carried.
Bass moved and Webb seconded that Mrs. Easter Ferguson be given a permit to install a septic tank and drain field at her residence at 122 West Patricia Anne Lane. Motion carried.
Holland reported the street drainage is poor on Main Street in front of the Whaling Whale Store.
