ref: reel020445 date: 1966-10-21 content: On October 21, 1966 at noon, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Council in the Council Room to consider the proposed Future Land Use in Appomattox and the area extending not over two miles beyond the Town limits. The Mayor explained matters pertaining to the proposal, and answered questions. The Public Hearing adjourned at 12:10 P.M.
A special meeting of the Town Council was held in the Council Room on October 21, 1966 at 12:15 P.M. with Mayor H. B. Pack presiding.
The following members were present: Mrs. C. H. Robinson, R. L. Wingfield, R. L. Bass, and Ivey Hoiland.
A discussion was held on the proposed Future Land Use Program for the Town and County.
Bass moved and Mrs. Robinson seconded that: The Council adopt the Future Land Use Plan as presented. Motion carried.
The Council then adjourned.
