ref: reel020412 date: 1964-10-21 content: The regular meeting of the Town Council met in the Mayor's Office on October 21, 1964 at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor S. R. Lawson presiding.
The following members were present: Dick Wingfield; Mrs. C. H. Robinson; H. B. Pack; Burke Guill; T. R. Gilbert; and Ivey Holland.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Motion made by Richard Wingfield, Seconded by Burke Guill. That the Town join the State Chamber of Commerce at a cost of $50.00 per year. Motion Carried.
Motion made by H. B. Pack, Seconded by Mrs. C. H. Robinson. That the Town install three street lights on Morton Lane to be put on the proper poles. And one street light on Ferguson Street on pole to be located and amended. This motion to include a street light on Ethel Street on the proper pole. Motion Carried.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned to meet again on the regular meeting date of November 18, 1964.
