The regular meeting of the Town Council met in the Mayor's Office on February 18, 1963, at 7:30 P.M., with Mayor S. R. Lawson presiding.
The following members were present: Ivey Holland, Mrs. C. H. Robinson, Burke Guill, T. R. Gilbert.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved, as read.
A motion was made by Burke Guill, seconded by T. R. Gilbert, that the Finance Committee make the recommendations on the Sewer Lagoon. Motion carried.
Motion made by Ivey Holland seconded by T. R. Gilbert, that the Town Council give the Mayor the authority to appear before the County Board of Supervisors at the next regular meeting and petition the Circuit Court to establish a voting precinct for the citizens of the Town of Appomattox. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Ivey Holland, seconded by Burke Guill, that the Town furnish water to Mr. John Soos. Motion carried.
