ref: reel020335 date: 1958-03-17 content: The regular meeting of the Town Council met in the Mayor's Office on March 17, 1958, at 7:30 P.M., with Mayor Chas. T. Moses, Jr., presiding.
The following members were present: C. Lewis McDearmon, T. Hunter Dickerson, G. E. Smith, C. C. Poe, John S. Grinels and J. C. Caldwell.
A motion was made by C. C. Poe, seconded by G. E. Smith, that parking meters be installed on the right side of Attwood Street to the back end of the theatre and 'No Parking' on the left side of Attwood Street to Lee Street. Motion carried.
A motion was made by G. E. Smith, seconded by John S. Grinels, that the Town of Appomattox contribute 25% of all money up to $8,000.00 spend by Appomattox Ball Park Improvement Association on the Town Ball Park.
