ref: reel020326 date: 1957-07-15 content: The regular meeting of the Appomattox Town Council met in the Mayor's Office on July 15, 1957, at 7:30 P.M., with Mayor Richard D. Robinson presiding. The following members were present: J. T. Irby, Mrs. C. H. Robinson, G. E. Smith, and T. Hunter Dickerson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
A motion was made by J. T. Irby, seconded by G. E. Smith, that the Town put in another piece of road pipe at Mr. R. R. Moore's garden on the Old Evergreen Road. Motion carried.
Motion was made by J. T. Irby, seconded by G. E. Smith, that all 2 (two) hour parking signs on North Church Street be taken off the post, also the Taxi signs. Motion carried.
