ref: reel020324 date: 1957-04-15 content: The meeting of the Town Council was held in the Mayor's Office on April 15, 1957, at 7:30 P.M., with Mayor Richard D. Robinson presiding. The following members were present: J. R. Irby, T. Hunter Dickerson, J. C. Caldwell, W. S. Gillis, G. E. Smith and Mrs. C. H. Robinson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
A Motion was made by J. C. Caldwell, seconded by G. E. Smith, that the Town will furnish water for Mr. Percy George's play ground if he will pay the entire cost and the installation to be supervised by the Town. The water meter will be furnished by the Town. Motion carried.
It was decided that Mr. R. M. McCrickard's 1955 taxes be cancelled.
