The following members were present: Chas. F. James, C. T. Moses, Jr., J. T. Almond, C. C. Poe and Grover E. Smith. A Motion was made by Grover Smith, seconded by C. T. Moses, Jr., that Chas. F. James be appointed Mayor for the next term. Motion carried. Motion was made by Grover Smith, seconded by Mrs. C. H. Robinson that J. C. Caldwell be appointed Councilman to fill the term of Chas. F. James. Voting for: G. E. Smith and Mrs. C. H. Robinson. Motion made by C. T. Moses, Jr., seconded by J. T. Almond that Dr. D. A. Christian, III, be appointed Councilman to fill the term of Chas. F. James. Voting for: C. T. Moses, Jr., J. T. Almond and C. C. Poe. A Motion was made by J. T. Almond, seconded by C. C. Poe that C. T. Moses, Jr., be elected President of the Council.
